SNMG-EM-R Square, double-sided inserts with 4 cutting edges (2 on each side) and truncated radii which facilitate heat transfer. Sharp cutting edge with a positive 13° chipformer rake angle. Used for rough machining high temperature alloys at ap<6 mm

A tough submicron substrate, TiAlN PVD coated grade followed by a special ‘SUMO TEC’ surface treatment. Suitable for turning inconel at low to mediumcutting speeds.
